Bia East Celebrates 66th independence day

The Bia East District Assembly celebrated the 66th Independence Day of Ghana with great fervor and enthusiasm. Various events and activities to mark the day in the history of the country were organized by officials of the assembly along with the education directorate, community leaders and residents. People came together to commemorate the day and paid tribute to the freedom fighters who fought for Ghana's independence. The celebration included cultural performances, parades, speeches, and flag hoisting ceremonies. The event served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by the heroes of the independence movement and the importance of unity and solidarity among Ghanaians. The Independence Day celebration not only honored the past struggles for freedom but also highlighted the progress and achievements of the district/country since gaining independence.
