Bia East District Assembly registers farmers for PFJ.2.0 programme

Agric dept.

With the introduction of the PFJ.2, the Bia East District Assembly has started registering farmers for the Planting for Food and Jobs 2 (PFJ2) program. This exercise aims to support local farmers and boost agricultural productivity in the district. By enrolling farmers in this program, the government would not only provide them with access to vital resources such as improved seeds, fertilizers, and extension services, but also help to increase food security and promote sustainable agricultural practices in the community. Through programs like PFJ2, farmers can increase their yields, improve their livelihoods, contribute to the overall economic growth of the district and also demonstrate government support in driving agricultural development at the grassroots level.
