Bia East District Assembly participate in the third edition of the commemoration of the Green Ghana program after its launch by the President of Ghana.

The Bia East District Assembly led by the Hon. DCE joined hundreds of citizens across the District to contribute to planting 10 million trees to mark the Green Ghana Day on 9th of June,2023. under the theme "Our Forests, Our Health" the Hon. DCE underscored the program's importance to the District's socio-economic development and the sustainability of human existence. Present at the ceremony was the District Coordinating Director, the Assistant Director 1, the District Forest Manager, the District Police Commander, NIB, Traditional Leaders, etc.
